Ormskirk and District Scouts St George's Day Parade Sunday 22nd April 2012

Hundreds of local scouts from Ormskirk and District, including Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Brownies and Rainbow groups, enjoyed the sunny, dry weather on Sunday and paraded from St Anne's Primary School through along to Coronation Park.

At Coronation Park the Scouts were greeted by the West Lancashire Mayor and Mayoress at the band stand.

Once gathered together, the scouts said prayers, sang hymns and songs to commemorate the Patron saint of England, St George.

Many parents had came along to enjoy the afternoon's actvities and proudly witnessed their children who paraded smartly through the town.
